Today was fun. ^_^

I met Jason and Bex at the train station, although I told them I was on the point of going to either London or Edinburgh if they hadn't arrived soon. I listen to the announcements too much. ^_^ Jason gave me a birthday cake that he'd made (I'm guessing this is my birthday present from) which is currently in the fridge after being hauled around in my backpack on a hot summer's day. Ew.
First stop was the Chinese supermarket, which actually had something I wanted in. So I bought two packets of strawberry and one packet of chocolate. They're little koala biscuits with filling. Very nice. Except they're always out of date. Always always. Ha.
In the Music Zone, or whatever it's called, I looked for the CD I wanted (all your fault, may I add) but they didn't have it. I'll probably order it online. I bought Jason's birthday present here, a poster of Trinity. He was happy, I think. He then asked me if I'd seen his life size poster of Holly Valance. -.-
Bex wanted to look in the Oasis Market, so we did. There were some cool tops around, but they a) cost too much and b) would have looked awful on me anyway. A few I'll go buy later, before school starts. That reminds me. No school uniform next year. Yay. But we have to wear black, non-denim trousers. But there were some cute Hello Kitty and anime shirts. Bex was disturbed at the slightly peverted anime girl on one shirt. Poor child. One top made me giggle since the guy on it looked... so weird.
Bex looked around various other clothes shops, and Jason and I sat down. And Jason danced. Heh heh.
In Virgin, we looked at the cds and the anime DVDs (unfortunately located next to um... 'adult' movies x.x) I almost bought Noir, but figured I didn't really have enough money. I'm glad I didn't, because I bought some better stuff later.
We went and ate lunch at the food court, but the sun was in my eyes the entire time and the guy tried to give me a large coke instead of a coke float. Feh.
After we'd eaten, Bex's dad appeared to go buy Bex her present. A MD, lucky child. In the shopm they were playing Charlie's Angel's with no sound, so Jason tried to describe what was going on. (Read as: he said: Oh yeah, this is the best bit. And this! and this! Or words to that effect.) The people in the shop kept looking at me and Jason weird because we just sat there. In the middle of the shop. he had a chair and I was sitting on the stairs. Meh.
Bex wanted to go back to Oasis Market to look at the shoes. This was when we saw the anime shirts.
After this, I dragged them into Forbidden Planet. After sparkling over the sheer amount of manga (one shelf... it's a lot for me) and DVDs (around 4 shelves), I bought one manga on a whim. All because the boy on the front was very cute. ^^;; I sound so shallow. And of course, because one of my LJ friends likes the anime. Unfortunately, volume 1 wasn't in stock, so the guy in the shop told me to come back in a few weeks. I can see myself going back there a lot. But I bought volume 2 anyway. The shop assisants there were amsuing. The one guy looked at the manga I was holding strangely. And the girl sitting next to him said very perkily 'Thank you for your custom!' o.o Admittedly, we were the only people in the shop. They gave me two bags, so I could defintely get the phone number. Well, I got the first for the phone number, and the second with the manga in. I walked out the shop, looked at the bag and began screaming. Bex looked at me, saw the bag, and began screaming as well. 'It's the rabbit! The rabbit!' Um, yeah. ^^;; The bag had an advert for Dark Water on. So it had the little girl's creepy rabbit bag on. (Earlier, I'd been wandering around a shop determinded to find the rabbit on something to buy for Jordan.)
And the manga I bought? I forgot to say. Kare Kano 2. ^_~
At this point, Jason had to go pick his brother and sister up from school, so he and Bex went to catch the bus. I then got lost. x.x I've never been to the train station on my own from that part of town before. Aaaah, I feel so stupid. But in the end I finally found it, and bought a drink because it was so hot. I read the first chapter of Kare Kano waiting for the train (and watching the train to Edinburgh go past) and then read the rest actually on the train.
I like it. The storyline's interesting and the art's good and Soichiro is just so cute. Although I detest the text used on the cover, the font inside is ok. But the actual cover is very pretty. I think volumes 1 and 3 will be put on my reading for summer list.

It's still quite hot, but it's late afternoon now, so it's cooler. I'm going to get yelled at for not cleaning up.

*appears to look innocent* Moi?

I see you changed your music. ^_~

Yeah... Somewhere In The Middle is still my current obsessing track, but I wanted to listen to the Kare Kano opening. ^_^
And don't look innocent, we all know the truth. ^_^ (I use exactly the same trick. ^.~)

Well, tell me when you're done obsessing cuz I'm just dying to introduce you to another one of their songs. It's called...

*laugh* I'm kidding, I'm kidding...

o.o Go on, feel free. Heh. I'm planning on buying their newest album anyway.
And the plot bunnies are chasing me with songfic ideas using that song.

You, too? I was actually planning on writing one and dedicating it to you. But, it's still in the planning stages. Hehe

Thanks. *hugs* That actually made me cheer up some.
Mine is a Digimon fic. o.o It seemed to fit the paring more in my mind. But none of it would have been written if you hadn't told me the song.
