last couple of days have been surprisingly fun! went to a gig last minute last night, which was oh my god awesome. Katie wins everything, ever. she's good at converting people. also, after, had some good conversations with her and Indie James. [we have to categorise the James. there is Indie James, Pirate James, Laura's James... apparently Laura has started naming them after Star Wars movies. A New James, etcetera.] pretty good, especially since I've never really spoken to him much before.

and today, Anisha came to Manchester, and we had delicious, delicious noodles and tempura. and sorbet! so good! *dead* depending on how many people turn up to the meet, we should go there again. also finally remembered to burn a dvd of emo for her. 1100+ tracks. booyah. plus, I made her watch youtube videos. okay, I am addicted to it. no... huge secret there.

Sarri is awesome. XD I might not talk to her tooooo often but when I do, it's a conversation made of win. Sarri's also a bit of a ninja. Just when you think she can't see your LJ entries, she is actually lurking beneath the shadows. Although she's an anime fan, she listens to emo music, which I don't put against her. She adores it, and isn't ashamed of it which takes a lot of guts against the whole anime clique scene. However, her personality isn't emo itself. =3 I love our conversations and I love who she is. ^^

dude, is it 'say randomly nice things about me' week or something? xia_hime AND quaaaack have both been up to it lately. ♥ ♥ ♥ for you ALL, okay? I'm such a sap, but pfft, oh well. I do read everything you write, and you all mean a lot to me.

that might sound weird, but I'm wearing my jeans and hoodie over my pajamas. a sign that today totally isn't a waking up early and being serious day. I have [not quite] just woken up. sleeping for twelve hours. mm.

last night was kind of long. the anime screening was good - Haruhi is moreorless a given, I think, as well as Black Lagoon because the dub is hilarious. then there was drinking. which is why I got in at around 2.30am.
conversation of the evening was someone saying 'I hope so-and-so doesn't remember when this thing happened'. and... told us what had happened. thus defeating the point.

also, people who get militant about music make me want to punch them in the face. I don't give a fuck if you don't like my music. just don't patronize me because of it.

I seriously just want to sleep.

My parents call one of our puppies, Indy, a special needs dog. It's kind of mean, but he is a little weird. He'll stare at you, then start barking randomly, and if you move towards him when he's like this, he'll flinch. I could maybe understand this... if we hadn't been his only owners. He's about 6 months old now. But yeah, he is the crazy puppy. Him and his brother fight a lot. And today, my mother was 'Well, you and Joseph [my brother] are quite like them...' My response was 'Wait, does that mean I'm the crazy one? D:'

...She also said if I ever brought a boy home who wore eyeliner, my dad and my brother would beat them up. Um, haha, that bodes well.

The new Fall Out Boy video amuses me so much. Because suits. And Panic references. And monkeys. Monkeys that insult Pete Wentz. What more could you ask for?
Also, I'm picking up more and more on the background vocals. I still have no idea what a bass sounds like, because I'm a dork. Plus, Saturday's screamo kills me dead. It makes me giggle every time. ...Lots of things makes me giggle though.
