This is the orginal writing piece that got out of hand. It's depressing. If you don't like it, don't read it. ...I sound so cold in this.


Fear. Anger. Despair. Sadness.

Happiness. Contentment. Love. Joy.

All of these are purely chemical reactions engineered by the brain. Whatever we feel, no matter what emotion it is, it is all because of a chemical released into the brain.

Hate is just an absence of the love drug in the brain.

The brain makes us who we are, gives imagination, strength, breathes life into an empty shell. But it restricts us, makes us feel hate anger, fear, love, happiness; things that distract us from what we imagine to be our true goal.

The human race has engineered itself to be the best, the most civilized and equal of all the species that we know of.

How can we be called civilized, equal? Man treads on one another in order to reach an individual, personal goal. Innocent blood is spilled for a supposed 'just' cause. The slaughter of millions for no real reason. Most animals have a reason to kill, for survival, to eat. Not for no reason.

We all strive to be the best, to be noticed, to be worth something both in our own eyes and in the eyes of others. Everything we do is paid for with blood, sweat and tears. We all work so hard, devoting almost every waking hour we have on the face of this planet to try and reach the self-set goal. Even in our dreams, it haunts, both the conscious and the sub-conscious filled with the same thing. In our minds, we build high, fuelled by imagination and pride. But the world mocks our efforts.

For to the world and the people on it, one single person is nothing, Utterly nothing. A face in the crowd, a grain of sand, a statistic. A lifetime's achievements reduced to a single meaningless string of numbers.


In a million years, a thousand years, a hundred years, even ten years, we will mean nothing. We will be gone, left in the dust, and our future, our hope, our legacy, will be left to remake our mistakes and the cycle will continue again.
