Dashboard Confessional - So Impossible
So, yeah, [livejournal.com profile] shuraiya asked the other day if I'd seen the trailer for the new Panic video. So, I went to go see it.
what the fuck.
Hopefully the entire video won't be like that. Because it makes me giggle in the 'this video is actually kinda of seriously weird.' [For kicks, the new Cute Is What We Aim For video did that as well, but not as bad because, hello? Mime-sex?] It just makes me disappointed, because I watched the Lying video right after, which is actually kinda cool. And then the vid for Saturday. [because everyone needs pete wentz as a serial killer, right? right.] But yeah. I am not liking the porn. Especially masquerading as a music video.

Sundays are such... slow days. Honestly, I never get any work done on a Sunday. I don't even write fic. It's just a bit like I've hit a dead end, or a wall, or something.

Haha, oh God, I hate the trailer too! A lot of fandom seems to be split on it. I don't like mimes! I'd just like to watch the boys being cute, thanks. Or, you know, the song has a pretty solid storyline, WHY not show us the "substandard motel" and the "virgin" etc. and shoot it all kind of film noir-ish if Ryan really has to be artsy? There could be like, a private eye investigating the lawyer! Or SOMETHING, I DON'T KNOW, but I'm not digging the totally-out-of-context mime/air sex. Sorry boys.

Yeah :/ They did the kind of artsy thing for Lying, which really worked, imo, even if it doesn't really have the boys standing around being pretty. It could have been really good and interesting! ...But I don't think it will be. I'm not full of hope for it anymore. XD

I'm not sure if I'm going tomorrow or not, I've had the same problem as you in that I never seem to work on a Sunday and I'm a bit behind so I probably shouldn't. D'you know if they're going anywhere in particular, or is it just gonna be a sit around in Korumba and see what everyone feels like type job?

hmmmm, quiz-night would be fun... but I really do need to do these tutorials, and I'm SO behind on my reading for philosophy. I might see how much I manage to get done then just play it by ear
