new series.. the doctor is an alien.. a "Time lord" from a world called gallifray (SP?) time lords can "regenerate" 12 times before they die there final death so in effect they get 13 lives. The doctor is the only time lord left that survived the time war against the daleks... (well thats what we think to begin with) and its just brilliant it has so many of us hooked.
Try downloading the new season and watching it ^.^ get a taste of British TV goodness. Oh.. an <3 Jack.
