x_X I spent far too much of yesterday on trains. Basically, I left home at 7am, got into Leeds at 10am... I took a book to read... that I read in three quarters of an hour. -_-;; I rule like that. Sat and drew... listened to music... while the guy next to me fell asleep. Yup, thrilling.
Arrived at the uni very early XD; When 12 finally rolled around, other people arrived, and I ended up on a table with two guys from Norwich [I, uh, forget their names] a girl from London called Harriet and the random tour guide person with a t shirt with the lion from Kenya on. *_* We took apart cheap calculators with dentable batteries over lunch. XD Me and Harriet took them apart and the boys put them back together... with the buttons in the wrong places. XD So we'd be trying to do '9 x 6 =' and getting 60... because we pressed the wrong buttons. XD New maths!
There was a presentation on the course... which made me sleepy... damn lecture room. And then a demonstration with liquid nitrogen. *_* *bounces happily* Then the interview. ._. In which I felt stupid. Because dammit, we don't have to know Plank's constant. And 10/0.5 is not 5. >.<;; They took us on a quick tour as well, including the acoustic room [they were like 'Yeah. We just took you in here so we could kill you and nobody would hear the screams.] and then a tour around teh campus including the Student's Union... Wow, they have their own hairdressers hehe. Didn't see if they had DDR in the arcade though. *addict* Other random factsd like apparent Leeds has its own missle silo... ¬¬; and the door in the middle of a walkway. The guides began saying how really, it was a Quake level, because where else would you get such bad architecture? XD They were insane... but it's all good. They only came for the fruit. XD
We had tea, coffee and biscuits [which the fourth year guides ate most of] and filled out our expenses forms. XD;; Yay, money back~ Harriet's ticket was £144... O_O;; The Norwich boys were asked if they were going to go clubbing... and the guide was 'Well, as long as its not of seals...' Loooong pause. I then get the joke and giggle. ^^;
After a while, me and Harriet decided to walk back to the train station together. Random talking. ^^;; I was in babble mode and may have scared her. We took the scenic route back... meaning we got vaguely lost. ^_^;; But got there in the end. Swapped e-mails and went to get our trains... with some food for me. ^.^
The train was to Plymouth. X.o Considering on the way there it was to Edinburgh. I was really bored. Wish I had a phone that worked or something. >.<; Looked out the window at the streetlights and listened to music... I skip songs so much. ^^; Train ended up being delayed by 15 minutes en route as well... Finally got in to New Street ant around 7.20, walked across the platform to get my connection immediately XDD So cool!
When I finally got in... was greeted with a 'where the hell have you been? We were about to call the police!' -_____-;; Despite the fact it was 8... and had finished at 4.30... 2 3/4 hours worth of train... 3/4 hour worth of walking... Bleh... -_-;

Just sitting in the library messing about with people... Wabbit and Tegan really. Watching Wabbit play Adventure Quest, making plans and remotedly twisted comments... 0=) Discussing music with Teegs via MSN although she is just over there from me. XD Yes, you. XD ['Yes. You.' 'I am a bike!' 'Thief!']

I came to some realisations last night... things I knew all along really but only just realising them. If that makes any sense. No matter how far I go... I still have the future, I still have my friends... I still have my heart. There's still things I'm looking forward to... from MAC... to the Manchester meet... to next summer... to next year. It'll be hard... but otherwise where is the challenge? n.n
