The whole anti-Birmingham meet thing is doing my head in. Yes, Nik has organised way too many meets. *eyes Nik* You know that, right? And it's annoying, yes, everytime I log on A-Eng to see another minimeet, but he's stopped doing that. And yes, people
are bored of Birmingham, but when you've lived in a city for a length of time, it does get a little boring. I know for me... and some of the other younger Birmigham group, it's kinda difficult to get to anywhere else. But, hey, that's life. I know we could go to other meets, but Birmingham is where we live, ok? Just wait a year and we'll all have moved. And yeah, some of the Birmimgham group are among the younger A-Eng members - the group of us around 15-17 - but that's mainly because there's a group of us who were friends before meets, so there's a few of us that go to school together. So we're younger, ok. Dopn't really know what this has to do with anything.
*sighs* I don't know where I stand on this, just it's doing my head in. Because everytime Birmingham gets mentioned, it's always 'Birmingham meets need babysitters' 'aren't you sick of there'... I'm sorry for living there, ok? x_X
Besides... I though the meets were about the people... right? If the big meet is in London, I'll try and get there, if I can't, life's life. Same for Manchester or Reading or wherever. If it's in Birmingham, good for me.
Sorry if I've offended anyone, I'm just sick of this whole buisness. Sick of minimeets, sick of people bitching either way.

You aren't the only one who has found the forums to be too bitchy recently either; take a look at when I last posted...
I totally agree with what you're saying though; a meet if about the people. I see no reason not to keep using Birmingham as the main location; it is the best location overall. Heck, I'd prefer Birmingham to Bristol, even though its longer & more expensive to travel. I simply wouldn't bother with anything more north than Birmingham, as its not worth the effort, when you can have a Birmingham meet so easily.
I intend to try & organise a small Birmingham meet when I have money, but only a small one. Less a meet, & more a day out in Brum with friends, I suppose.
