They sat there together on the swings, watching the first few flakes of snow fall to the ground softly.

'A white Christmas,' Takeru breathed, smiling.

'Takeru, that reminds me... when are you going to give me my present?'

'I got you a new hat!'

'Why?' The word was agonizingly drawn out, and Takeru turned away from Daisuke to hide his smile.

'Because I guessed that you were jealous, the way you used to go on about my hat.'

'But I have my googles! Off Taichi-senpai! I don't need a hat!'

'Aaa, now it should be me getting jealous of the way you go on about Taichi-san. I'm sure Yamato would like to know.'

'Takeru-kuuun.'

He smiled. That was a definite whine.

'See, I'm wearing your dumb hat! You find it funny?'

The blond turned around to look at his boyfriend, and smiled. 'No. It makes you look cute.' He puncuated the statement by kissing Daisuke on the nose.

The other boy flushed. 'Don't be stupid!' he said, pulling the hat roughly off his head.

'You're cute without the hat. And that's the way I like you.'

The snow fell to the ground around them, as they sat on the swings in the playpark. And Daisuke decided, that even though the hat probably made him look dumb, it was worth wearing it. If just to see Takeru smile.
