I'm not sure whether to be offended or just plain amused.

My dad's going to America next week on business. To Boston, which is a pretty cool place. XD But my mother can't go, because of my results day, and as she puts it 'YOU'LL NEED A LOT OF MONEY NEXT YEAR >0' since the plane tickets would be kinda... 'omgwtfbbq' expensive.

I'm taking the amused route. It's better than getting pissed off.
