(no subject)

Okay... *smiles hyperly and bounces* To people who wanted interview questions, I'm afraid they'll have to wait until this evening. I'm going out to meet for 10.30am (so I leave house at 9.45am since the train comes at 10am) and when I get back, I'll have visitors.
But I haven't forgotten! Don't worry.

I'm very excited. :D I know what I'm getting off my parents (a tablet, gold bracelet (real gold ^^) and manga) and my grandomother and my one aunt (lotsa clothes :D) so I just have to get the presents from my other grandma and three sets out of aunts and uncles. ^_^

I have new MD to listen to... *thinks* It's got a few .hack//dusk songs, a Chobits song, Prince of Tennis songs, Naruto songs and some Barenaked Ladies and Ash songs. ^_^ The grief the word listen gave me you wouldn't believe. x.x

Your voice, it chased away all the sanity in me

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay... A write up of today is in order.


After running around the house madly since my clothes weren't dry (I ended up wearing them anyway) and putting Spiral onto download and such, I left the house to go to the train station, listening to my MD all the way. And yes, I still got a child's ticket. Bwa. And Jordan had to pay full fair. It was actually quite lucky since the train came right away. They even had newspapers on the bus. Such times we live in, free newspapers on public transport.

I got to New Street early, and waited a little for Jordan and Bex. The way I phrased it sounds like I was just going to go or something. I wasn't. x.x But they did come. :D although Jordan didn't like my music. Ch'. No taste, child. We walked up to Broad Street (which was a very long walk... ouch) giggling (in my case) all the way.

The film tickets were cheap. Which made my day. And for some reason, I bought snacks including jelly beans which I systematically ate in around 15 minutes. I was scared at the time.

Dark Water is a good film. But very scary. Just the music. And the glimpses. And the drip-drip-dripping. And, of course... the last half hour or so. Go see, I tell you. Go see. (There'll be a proper writeup later, but I'll be very spoiler-ish.) I was really scared. Don't let me see yellow raincoats, red shoulderbags, water tanks, bathtubs or murky water for the next... year or so. x.x
But I adored the song for the ending credits.

And for some reason, Jordan gave me my present just as the lights went dim. Agh. So I had to wait until we got out. It was a How To Draw Manga book... *sparkles* Pretty! I liked it a lot. And a Hello Kitty card! With a badge. Bex and Riya should be giving me my presents on Tuesday. *smiles*

For lunch, we ate bagettes and Ben and Jerry's ice cream. Mmmm. I think this made me ill though.

After looking in the Chinese supermarket and buying sweets, we went to the station and home again. By this point, it was too hot. x.x I was wearing jeans, a long sleeved blue and orange shirt (but you couldn't see the orange) and a black t-shirt over the top. And my hat. But it was too hot. So I got in, opened all the windows, changed into my t-shirt and poured myself a glass from the bottle of coke that had been sitting in my backpack all day. With lots of ice. I played around drawing something from my book and now have a decent inked picture. I think.

My nan, my uncle and set of cousins 1 (Rachel and Daniel) came over with presents. I got a pink top (wearing now) a white long sleeved dragon top off the uncle that came, sheep pajamas off another aunt and uncle and money off the third. Socks, money and chocolate off my nan. ^_^ After they'd left, my aunt (another one) and set of cousins 2 (Richard, Lewis, Toby, William, Amelia and Henry. Big family.) came to say happy birthday and give me my card. Toby told me off for playing football barefoot and then informed me I was still wearing a price tag. -.-;; He's 9. Richard kept getting the ball when anyone called to me. Bwa. He's female now, then?


The computer that resides in my room no longer recognises the C drive. So that's a load of stuff gone, I think I guess I can live. The ones I really want and have no backups, I think I know where I can get them. ^^ So this means tablet will be fixed up to this pc tomorrow.

With my money, I intend to buy a mechanical pencil, some fine pens and erasers, and maybe pencil crayons. Yay. And I may get a DA account. Bizarre, no? Then all can see my medicore artwork.

My Amaon order has gone from 'Not Yet Dispatched' to 'Soon To Be Dispatched'. :D
