mm, passing out on other people's sofas! it's crazy how much time I spend there. but we're talking about plans for next year. I'm going to be living with people I know! more precisely,
boonehwabbit,
eleclya_m,
individual_68 and
mrs_jack_turner! ¦3
you have no idea how much I'm looking forward to this. although it makes people go 'hey, you have friends now'.
we watched the 3rd and 4th Harry Potter movies - in which I giggled, talked too much and made many comments about David Tennant's tongue. tried to watch Dogma after, but I feel asleep pretty soon into it. damn the whole needing sleep thing.

at 11.11, what do you wish for?
it's easier to wish for happiness than something specific, because happiness covers all the bases. it's more likely to come true.
I'd find a star for you if you asked. but the impossible is easier [to get] [to understand] than you.

amusing moments from my lecture.
there's a guy who keeps dying his hair pink and purple! it's just- pink and purple! *flail* unfortunately, he's a second year so I don't actually know him. [flailing is totally a coping method.]
the lecturer bitching about windows, and then saying 'I sound like a crazy Mac fan. ...uh, there aren't any of those here, right?'
talking about wireless security... in parts of cars. because how everything is getting all high tech and stuff - 'in your life time, there will probably be a murder inquiry where someone's anti-lock braking system has been hacked into.'

oh my god, fucking hilarity. Monday, I had to go to Waterstones to buy Katie a new copy of her book [exploding orange juice incidents] and was browsing around the fantasy section and thought 'hey, I wonder if the new Temeraire/His Majesty's Dragon book has been released', and there it was, in hardcover. I find it hard to resist shiny books.
turns out. it was released November 5th. the day I went in, by complete coincidence.
but yeah. dragons! alternate history! go read! it's one of the best books I've read.
Monday was also my day of retail therapy. I'm really awful with my money, so any Christmas presents will be in January. but I say this every year.

oh god, oh god, LESS THAN A WEEK. judging from two set lists so far, they might play Headfirst for Halos, which would be so awesome. I'm kind of spazzing out.
the_sell_out, did you get the message I sent you?
it's getting the point where I'm all 'hey guess what I'm doing next week? :D :D :D' and everyone is 'yeah, we know already.'

also, I got killed. *sad face*

You sent me a message? WHERE, I DEMAND TO KNOW. Now please because I haven't got any messages and really, it's making me feel like I have no life (which I don't but that totally doesn't count).
HEADFIRST FOR MOTHERFUCKING HALOS. I know, like. I kind of screamed a little when I heard they'd played that. TWICE. Oh god.
You want to know something kind of funny and kind of reallyfuckingstupid? I've never been to Sheffield and I haven't really planned ANYTHING and all I know is that my bus back to London leaves at 1.45 am and I kind of have to make it if I intend to go stalk Mikey's brother at Forbidden Planet the next day... But I figured that I'll just get to England and see what happens. Usually things work out just fine like that. :D
I really should learn to plan my trips a little better...

I know, I hope they play it so so bad.
also, stalking Gerard for the win! I wish I could go to the signing, but London is too far away and I have 9am lectures D:

Huh, so you've never been there either? We're going to need maps and shit. :D
According to a friend they've played Honey this mirror... live as well as Halos. Umm, what is going on, guys? Seriously, it's weird and I really shouldn't bitch before I've even been to the gigs, but now that they're playing old songs again means they probably won't play any of the b-sides and this just sucks because at the moment Heaven Help Us and My Way Home Is Through You are kind of my favourite mcr songs. So yeah. Ok I'll just shut up.
But if I had any power over their setlist I'd totally drop Teenagers...Ok that didn't come out as intended. I'm hapy because HELLO, HALOS, but yeah. B-sides are love for snobs like me. *is pretentious*
...Can't you skip education for one day? (Ooh look at me, supporting immoral behaviour like that. I should tell myself to be responsible and stop.)
It's a bit weird, going to the signing as I haven't actually got a single copy of The Umbrella Academy. Why not? Because I haven't actually ordered it from anywhere as I won a free subscription from tfaw.com and either the first issue got lost in the mail or it just takes ridiculously long to arrive from the States. I bet they chose the cheapest delivery method there is. I wouldn't be surprised if they took a random hobo off the street and told him to swim across the Atlantic while clutching to the comic book with his teeth. No, I am not worried or bitter. At all.
Oh well, at least I get to look at all the ridiculously amazing Doctor Who stuff in the store while trying to hide from the army of fangirls swooning due to the presence their fearless leader. (what am I talking about?)

but urggh, yeah, can't really skip. :(
Honey this mirror? oh man, if they played that, I'd die. I kind of hysterically love that song.
maps ftw! I know I probably need to get a tram from the train station to the arena, but no idea about the bus station... it'll be fun XD and guessing going straight to the arena to queue moreorless? I need to buy my train ticket soon. :D

http://www.supertram.com/
And YES definitely, I want to go queue pretty much as soon as possible. Because, like, the arena is a bit huge and I do actually want to be able to see something. :)
Hmm I've been looking at the tram site and apparently there are no buses to the arena, only the tram and the last one leaves kind of.. early. umm, it sucks but what can you do..
Damn college. Damn universe. Like, seriously. But you know, the signing is probably rubbish and only worth going to for the hilarity (or like I'd normally say 'for the lolz' but not this time because I don't want to seem more immature than I already do). I'll probably be way too embarrassed to be there to actually go talk to him or anything. :D
Oh man, it's like, only a couple of days and I'm so not ready. I need to make a t-shirt and fix my broken bag and decide what to wear and ARGH. Basically. :D

last tram is at 23.15 iirc. and I have no idea when the concert will actually finish! [I'm guessing around 11 thinking back on other arena concerts?] but um, otherwise I guess we just try and find our way back XD; there'll have to be other people going towards the station? and I guess worse comes to worst, there's always a taxi. but I'm kind of cheap :/
it can't be any worse than the Panic signing I went to! I felt really silly when I asked Brendon for a hug and the security guys were like 'no :|'.
I'm all 'what bag to take! D:' because I was planning on taking a magazine to read on the train because I'm a little nervy about taking my mp3 player. but argghh. I don't know.
