Listen to the rain fall
A solitary figure walks
Hear it drown my voice
Followed by their demons
I tell my truth
They scream their pain
You turn away again
They cry as someone leaves
I remember how to used to be
Someone tries to wish upon a star
Was it real?
A dream comes crashing to the ground
Or you never really loved me
Whispers of hurt
And you lied every time you saw me
Denial of truth
And with each word, you pressed
Acceptance of pain
This blade closer to my wrist
